BLM partner and head of creative, digital and marketing law, Steve Kuncewicz discusses Twitter's plans to delete inactive accounts on its platform.

In response to murdered MP Jo Cox' widower, Brendan seeking to preserve his wife's account so that their children would not be denied insight into her work, Steve said that Twitter's terms of service did give it a right to delete any accounts that were deemed inactive or in breach of its rules.

He added: “It does raise questions about, what happens to your digital assets when you die? Services like this are very rarely built with bereavement in mind."
