Steve Kuncewicz on why social platforms should be raising awareness of copyright infringement risks
Social platforms such as TikTok have a duty to inform users about the risks of copyright infringement, according to BLM’s Head of Creative, Digital & Marketing, Steve Kuncewicz.
Commenting in a Raconteur social media report this week, Steve said:
“We’ve seen plenty of work done to educate users on when to take action in the event of a privacy or harassment issue, yet there’s very little attention being paid to the fundamental issues around the sharing of third party content…”
