Steve Kuncewicz, partner and head of creative, digital & marketing law at BLM is often approached by media organisations for his views.  In a article in The Drum exploring the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) condemnation of Facebook after it announced that it would not reduce the targeting on, or fact-check, political ads it enables during elections, Steve commented:

"As the public's awareness of micro-targeted ads rises, seemingly so does the public's distaste."

Steve Kuncewicz had previously shared with The Drum: "Microtargeted ads are becoming a riskier proposition in general, and the debate around political advertising looks to be giving some of the major platforms an opportunity to nail their colours to a particular mast."
