Creative solutions for offline legal challenges

Insider’s recent Northern Powerhouse Digital and Technology Conference was a welcome addition to the calendar of events aimed at capturing and serving the interests of the North West region’s creative, digital and technology sector. Each panel identified a number of trends and challenges affecting the sector from different perspectives, some of which are new, some of which are evergreen and some that remain to be addressed by the market and government.

Among the key themes highlighted at the event were a lack of skilled personnel, an education system that doesn’t meet the needs of the sector, funding and scalability. This list could have gone on, but in our experience qrowth businesses of any size, shape or state of maturity face at least some similar problems and those in the creative, digital and technology sector are no exception.

Steve Kuncewicz, BLM partner and expert in the creative, digital and technology sector, provides further thoughts on the key themes and opportunities highlighted at this year’s conference, in an article published this week in Insider North West. Click here to read the article in full.
